A World of adventure awaits!
From camping under the stars to learning essential life skills, our troop provides young people with experiences that shape who they become. Be part of the journey.

Adventure Beyond the Backyard
From summer camp in the Colorado Rockies to weekend campouts closer to home, our troop gives scouts the chance to explore the world around them. Every trip is an opportunity to learn new skills, push boundaries, and create memories that last a lifetime. Whether we’re hiking mountain trails, paddling down rivers, or setting up camp under the stars, adventure is at the heart of everything we do.
Learning by Doing
Scouting isn’t learned in a classroom — it’s learned around the campfire, on the trail, and through hands-on experience. Our scouts develop practical skills like navigation, first aid, cooking, and wilderness survival while building the confidence that comes from tackling real challenges. Along the way, they learn to work as a team, support one another, and take responsibility for themselves and their patrol. These aren’t just skills for the outdoors — they’re skills for life. Every campout, service project, and meeting is a chance for scouts to grow into capable, confident young people ready to take on whatever comes next.

What Scouting Offers
Outdoor Skills & Adventure
Scouts learn practical skills they won’t find in a classroom — fire building, knot tying, navigation, camping, and wilderness survival. Our program emphasizes hands-on learning in the outdoors, giving young people the tools and confidence to thrive in any environment. From local campouts to high adventure trips, every outing is a chance to grow.
Leadership & Responsibility
Scouting is youth-led. Scouts take on real leadership roles within the troop — planning activities, leading their patrols, and mentoring younger members. These experiences teach accountability, decision-making, and how to guide others. The skills they develop here prepare them for leadership in school, work, and life.
Service & Community
Giving back is central to scouting. Our troop regularly participates in service projects that benefit the local community, from park cleanups to food drives to larger Eagle Scout projects. Scouts learn that their actions matter and that they have the power to make a real difference in the world around them.

“
Climb the mountain not to plant your flag, but to embrace the challenge, enjoy the air and behold the view. Climb it so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.
